After several reports last year that the expected iPhone 7 will be waterproof, which would have been a first for an Apple-made mobile device. There is yet another rumor coming out of Taiwan purportedly originating somewhere in Apple’s supply chain corroborating those rumuors.
The iPhone 7 has allegedly completed its third round of testing, and it’s water and dust proof. This will be very similar to the newly released flagship from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S7. Additionally, prototypes come with a touch-sensitive capacitive home button – whereby you won’t need to press but rather just touch. Another rumored feature is that it might be 3D Touch-enabled, thus it will be pressure-sensitive.
Let it be noted that these are still merely rumors but as more information becomes available, be sure to have an update as always. Past rumors have also projected the thickness of the iPhone 7 to be about 6.1mm thin, and also featuring an improved design for the antenna bands on the back.
The phone could also have other features including stereo speakers, wireless charging support, and a Smart Connector like new iPads and also without a 3.5mm headset jack. The iPhone 7 Plus will also likely be having a dual-lens camera at the back like the recently released Huawei P9 smartphone.
