Sony is launching new devices under the X Series, the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance and they will become available very soon.
The two devices Xperia X and Xperia X Performance have similar features which include a 5″ 1080p device display. They both have cameras with 23MP rear camera and 13MP front camera. They both have fingerprint scanners present and will come loaded in the Android Marshmallow. However, the Xperia X runs on Snapdragon 650 chipset with 3GB RAM, while the Xperia X Performance utilizes Snapdragon 820 chipset with 3GB of RAM and also adds waterproofing feature to the mix.
Both devices incorporate Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology and Sony’s Smart Battery Management feature, for up to 5.5 hours of power in just 10 minutes of charging, and a charge that can last up to two days.
Dual SIM options of both the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance are expected for launch by Sony.
Both the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance will have an internal storage of 64GB which is double the amount o their single-SIM variants. It should be noted that the firmware will occupy about 15.4GB of those, while 48.6GB will be available for your apps, multimedia, and files.
